Notebook 2(56)/2019 Mariusz Kozera - Roads in the Landscape

In this study you will find basic information about roads considered in a wide range – from design to specific solutions in implementation, road administration and urban planning as a tool for shaping the road network. The whole is described and illustrated for the needs of future landscape architects, but this does not change the fact that the “road” itself is an object of interest for the whole society, which in fact functions, among other things, thanks to these connections between centers of social life, cultural life, etc. Without roads, it is impossible to imagine the further development of today’s civilization, despite the entrance of the Internet, a form of digital transmission, by a wide front.
