The tasks of the Spatial Data Modelling Unit include:
- creating and updating a spatial database;
- conducting a landscape audit in cooperation with the Strategic Planning Unit and field branches of the Office;
- participating in the preparation of studies and reports related to the development of the voivodeship;
- processing spatial and statistical data and preparing visualisations thereof;
- maintaining and updating the geoportal;
- cooperating with relevant units of the Office and local governments;
- analyzing and modelling spatial transport data;
- preparing opinions and positions concerning transport for the regional government;
- cooperating in developing the regional transport system with the Department of Estate and Infrastructure of the regional government, the Mazovian Regional Roads Authority;
- cooperating with local governments, the national government, non-governmental organizations, scientific institutions, universities and professional associations.
