On 25 May 2026, the Branch Office in Płock of the Mazovian Office of Regional Planning in Warsaw was visited by a group of students studying Administration at the Mazovian University in Płock. The meeting was the result of an agreement signed between the Mazovian Office of Regional Planning in Warsaw and the Mazovian University in Płock. The meeting was arranged by Ms Mariola Szewczyk-Jarocka, PhD, representing the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics.
During the visit, the Director of the Branch Office in Płock – Ms Ewa Baranowska – outlined to the meeting’s participants the origins of the Mazovian Office of Regional Planning in Warsaw, the scope of its operation and its organisational structure. She discussed planning and strategic documents, as well as analytical reports and other publications drawn up by the office.
The students had the opportunity to learn about the practical aspects of the branch office’s functioning, including the tasks currently being carried out and the research projects undertaken by the staff.
The aim of the visit was to give participants an insight into the work of the Mazovian Office of Regional Planning in Warsaw and to broaden their knowledge of how local government works and of issues relating to regional planning.
